Coach Bags: A Line-by-Line Guide
Set up in 1941, Coach first made men’s small leather goods, and women’s handbags followed later before becoming the core of the brand. Today the lineup of coach handbags takes in structured shoulder bags, soft hobos, satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and archive reissues. Every main line is taken in turn in this guide, with notes on what the bag is, when it appeared and how it is made. Some well-known lines have no reliable launch year on record, so dates appear only where they are documented.
Any price in this guide is an observed market price from 2026 rather than an official list price, and amounts vary with size, material and promotions. Similar names can refer to quite different designs, which is worth knowing when picking your first coach bag. When searching for a Coach bag, certain shoppers type “couch bag” in error, and as the first word also refers to a sofa, furniture listings can end up in the results.
The Tabby Family
The Tabby is a structured shoulder bag built to be worn crossbody as well, with detachable straps and Signature “C” hardware. Stuart Vevers brought it out in 2019, and its shape was taken from Coach’s 1970s archive. Its launch campaign, “Dream It Real”, was reportedly created by photographer Juergen Teller. Listed under the base product name Tabby Shoulder Bag, it has appeared in sizes 20, 26 and 36.
Then, in 2021, the softly padded Pillow Tabby followed, listed under names such as Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting. On the US market the Tabby 26 was observed at $475, and in the UK at £475; quilted and special-edition versions sat higher. People who want one bag for both day and evening should find it a good fit, as coach bucket bag it shifts easily between shoulder and crossbody wear.
The Brooklyn
Crafted in natural-grain leather, the Brooklyn is a relaxed coach shoulder bag that is far closer to a hobo than to the structured Tabby. Its launch came in August 2024, after a showing on the Fall 2024 runway. Reports point to two main sizes: the Brooklyn 28 and the roomier Brooklyn 39. The 39 is described as roomy enough for a 15-inch laptop, so it makes a sensible work bag.
Distinct from the shoulder styles, a newer Brooklyn Carryall shape was reported for Spring 2026. At John Lewis in the UK, the Brooklyn 28 had an observed price of £350. The RealReal’s 2025 resale report said that searches for Coach had risen 160% and named the Brooklyn among its examples; the figure, however, tracks searches rather than resale prices.
Rogue
Built with top handles and a shoulder strap, the Rogue is Coach’s firmly structured satchel. After its debut on the Fall 2016 runway, it was eventually discontinued before coming back in a 2021 relaunch. Offering versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins, the line stands at the upper end of Coach’s leather range. Observed selling for $8,000, a Rogue 25 in alligator marked the highest Coach bag price observed in 2026.
Coach also provides a Made-to-Order Rogue, which has reportedly taken about 12 weeks, or around 16 weeks with exotic materials. Via Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program, restored Rogue bags have also appeared. The Rogue shows, to plenty of collectors, how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can reach.
Empire Carryall
The Empire Carryall, listed as the Empire Carryall Bag 34, is an elongated, east-west top-handle bag. It was presented on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway and put on sale in February 2025. Fashion press reported that it sold out on its release day. The structured Carryall 34 is separate from softer versions named Soft Empire, including a Soft Empire 40.
The Empire Carryall 34 was observed at £475 on Coach’s own site in the UK. For everyday carrying, its long top-handle shape offers a dressier alternative to a coach tote bag. Because 34 and 40 are different bags, anyone comparing listings should look closely at the number after the name.
Kisslock Bags Compared: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel
Inspired by vintage coin purses, the frame clasp called Kisslock is a detail that Coach links to the Bonnie Cashin era. Be careful not to confuse the various bags that share the term. Observed at $350, the Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather was reportedly the opening look of the Fall 2026 show. As earlier Kisslock Frame versions also turn up in listings, the family may predate that show.
These days, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 appears chiefly as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved; it is an older style with quilted nappa leather and rivets. The Kisslock Barrel Bag is a Spring 2026 Coach Originals reissue drawn from a 1973 design. A Kisslock Backpack was also presented for Fall 2026, adding yet another use of the name.
Swinger and Swing Zip: Notes on The Coach Originals
Consisting of newly made reissues of archive designs, The Coach Originals is a line of bags that are new rather than vintage. A short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag fitted with a turnlock, the Swinger has an original design that Coach dates to 1987. The version sold today is the Swinger Bag 20, also offered With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard. Drawn from a 1998 design, the Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag, meaning the two names are not interchangeable.
Other Originals reported in early 2025 took in the Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005. As of 2020, the Coach Originals name was reportedly being used. The line suits buyers who want an archive look without the wear of a genuinely vintage piece.
Soho Sorted: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker
Soho is one of the most confusing names in the Coach catalog since it covers three different products. In 2006, the original Soho Flap made its debut. Offered in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard, the Soho Bag 25 is a more compact, newer reissue as opposed to that 2006 bag. Soho styles are part of The Coach Originals, and a Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather has also been listed.
Set apart from the bags, the Soho Sneaker is footwear Coach has showcased in 2025 and 2026, and it is grouped with shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. To tell the bags apart from the shoe, include “Bag 25” or “Flap” to your search. No reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured, so check Coach’s own website before buying.
Willow, Cassie and Juliet Compared
Approach any launch date you see online with caution: these three lines are well known, but none has a documented launch year. Built around pebble leather, the Willow family has taken in the Willow Tote 24, a Willow Bucket and a Willow Shoulder bag. A Custom Willow Tote has also appeared on Coach’s own website; the Willow Tote 24, for its part, is a simple example of a coach tote bag. The Cassie Crossbody Bag 19, fitted with a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps, sits within Cassie, a crossbody and top-handle design.
With newer style codes, Cassie styles remain listed on Coach’s own website. Juliet is a soft, slouchy shoulder bag in glovetanned leather, available in versions such as the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30. Before trusting an older review, confirm whether a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current, since availability changes by season.
Every Line at a Glance: Observed Prices
For each main line, the table below lists the shape, the key date and, where one was reliably captured, an observed 2026 price. These are observed market prices, not an official Coach price list, and they change with size, material, color and promotions. Sales tax is not included in US prices, but VAT is part of UK prices. Outlet styles get their own promotions at a coach outlet, while full-price styles can be reduced during sales.
Coach Outlet is Coach’s own official channel, sold through outlet stores and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website. In 2014, Coach’s head of investor relations was quoted as saying about 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel. Since then, Tapestry has discussed bringing some full-price collection product into outlets, and that number is dated. To find current-season lines, a full-price coach store or Coach’s own website is still the place to look.
